Two skirts walked into a bar
Two skirts walked into a bar.
Basic black skirt: I'm so over myself. I feel so...
Kuwaii wool: Boring?
Basic black skirt: Exactly! I mean I know I go with everything, but...You must know how I feel.
Kuwaii wool: Not really.
Basic black skirt: Why?
Kuwaii wool: Well, I too go with everything, but I have these amazing origami-like folds at the waist.
Basic black skirt: Another bourbon please bar-lady!
Kuwaii wool: And I'm fully lined and made of natural fibers.
Basic black skirt: Is there anything you don't like about yourself?
Kuwaii wool: What can I say? I love being me.

Hip to be square
I used to be a renegade
I used to fool around
Adorning men's wedding kilts
The occasional dressing gown...
But soon I got real straight
Yes Jolet made this shirt
You might think I'm crazy
But I don't even care
Because I can tell what's going on
It's hip to be square.

Dear doctor...
Dear Doctor,
I can't seem to shake the feeling that something is not quite right.
I am made in Sydney, yet I look like a Melbournian - all blacks and greys and cosy woolly fabric. Walking around Manly, I appear kind of strange. But in Brunswick I feel right at home. Why is this happening to me? Am I having an identity-crisis?
Yours sincerely,
Culdesac top deck tank.

Gorgeous silk kimono felt gawky in highschool
It may be hard to believe, but this stunning Secret Squirrel kimono insists she was not one of the cool kids back in high school.
'None of the 32' hipsters ever noticed me,' the silk sensation told us in an exclusive interview. 'I desperately wanted to be a frayed denim mini worn with leggings and thongs!'
Thank goodness she stuck to her figure-flattering, stylish and fashion-forward signature style. Just goes to show - one should not reach their peak during adolescence.

News alert: Extreme makeover at PCB
News has just come in from Pussycat Black, Brunswick.
Shop owner, Bettina Wilner-Browne has been busier than ever transforming her cute 1950s-inspired store into a sexy, sleek minimalist lair complete with with recycled wood electricity poles and even more racks of stunning Australian-designed and produced wares.
We love the charcoal feature wall and vintage cabinet straight from a London department store.
When asked to comment, PCB herself simply gushed, 'I can't believe it. I feel like a new shop. Like I can do anything!'

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It's a secret...
It was a dark, stormy night when a woman wearing black lace wool sat on her veranda drinking Campari and watching the night sky. All of a sudden she saw something hovering below the clouds. Was it a strange, furry bird? An airplane?
No.
It was just Secret Squirrel flying about, dancing to the thunder and spreading about her vintage-inspired must-have fashion-goodness.

Annie Lennox meets the Austrian spy avenger
Grey Mondays
Next Monday when I am suffering post-weekend depression I am going to wear this Cul de sac loopy top. If the sky is grey, we will match. If it is blue, we will complement one another. Either way, life is good.
